Rare Moa Sighting

As you may know the Moa bird was all over Aotearoa back in the day but it was hunted to commonly believed extinction.

Nowadays it's extremely rare to see one.

Standing around 3.6 metres tall they would be quite the sight especially out in the open as this photo shows.

It's feels like a billion is just a bit bigger than a million. Obviously it's bigger but it fits on the same scale as a million, surely. It doesn't. A billion is so so so much bigger than a million. It was a while ago that I handed over the reigns of the two international rugby calendars to those that wanted to continue them. I recently popped over to the Rugby Calendars page on this site and wowsers, both are chocker full of international rugby entries and it was an absolute delight. I am loving how the rugby fan community has stepped up, taken the calendars to heart, and kept them going (even better than before). It also struck me that all this awesome hard work probably needs to be shared a LOT more and not just on this website.
