All Lines Point Towards

As I believe I have mentioned previously, I am drawn to lines, especially ones that converge effortlessly onto something.

This photo, of the walkway around Freybergs Pool (Wellington, NZ) from the marina side, is probably one of my 'lines' favourites.

It's feels like a billion is just a bit bigger than a million. Obviously it's bigger but it fits on the same scale as a million, surely. It doesn't. A billion is so so so much bigger than a million. In the olden days we had a collection of cook books, scraps of handwritten recipes stuffed in, and a handful ripped out pages from magazines. These days it's electronic. We have a collection of cooking websites, scraps of typed in notes stuffed between to do lists, YouTube videos bookmarked, and a handful of screenshots from Facebook. We never got better we just spaffed it all over the Internet. Then along came Cooked . The office has all been moved around - new desks (with starter handles to raise and lower them), new high(er) speed network and ... the same old work.
