After living in various astounding places around the world my first UK place I called home was in Monmouth (well, just outside tbf).

This view is burnt into my memory, and I know I am incredibly lucky to having such an amazing start to my life.

It's feels like a billion is just a bit bigger than a million. Obviously it's bigger but it fits on the same scale as a million, surely. It doesn't. A billion is so so so much bigger than a million. I've trawled the internet finding graphics and videos that show the VAST difference between one million and one billion. In the olden days we had a collection of cook books, scraps of handwritten recipes stuffed in, and a handful ripped out pages from magazines. These days it's electronic. We have a collection of cooking websites, scraps of typed in notes stuffed between to do lists, YouTube videos bookmarked, and a handful of screenshots from Facebook. We never got better we just spaffed it all over the Internet. Then along came Cooked . The office has all been moved around - new desks (with starter handles to raise and lower them), new high(er) speed network and ... the same old work.
