You might remember a couple of weeks ago I blogged about a massive auction coming up of movie costumes and props. The BBC site has a short video clip looking at a fraction of the film goodies which will be up for sale, from the suits and guns of Men In Black to the Superman costume.
From the earlier posting:
... there’s a pretty diverse range, including the axe used by Jack Nicholson in the Shining, the Holy Grail from Indiana Jones and the tablets handled by Charlton Heston ... as Moses in the Ten Commandments. ... Christopher Reeve’s costume from the first Superman movie and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man mask to animatronic puppets from Alien 3 and one of the ray guns from the 1950s sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet ...
... a set of Vulcan ears from Star Trek and a prosthetic nose worn by Lou Ferrigno in the old Incredible Hulk TV series. ... 18 inch high model of a TIE Fighter ... from the first Star Wars film, which is estimated to go for a cool £100, 000. ... rare photographs and posters to maquettes and puppets from Stan Winston’s studio, including quite an array of Jurassic Park dinosaurs, a dress worn by Jeri Ryan in Star Trek Voyager (control yourselves!) and Captain Picard’s desktop computer from the Enterprise.
