The Police getting back together for one gig

Zenyatta MondattaWhilst The Police (band, not upholding the law organisation) were a seminal part of music youth I don't have an huge emotional attachment to the music. Mind you Zenyatta Mondatta was the first LP I ever ever bought taking my hard earned (given) pocket money down to Monmouth Woolies. Those songs do take me back to my bedroom in Wyesham.

Anyway - they're back together for a one-off "gig" at the Grammys in LA on 11th Feb.

Walking home past the Boys School playing fields , it's quite the idyllic view. I recall playing the Monmouth School for Boys only once before the fixture was cancelled due to the incessant fighting. I wonder if it's back on or has the early 1980s ban held firm.

The Difference Between One Million And One Billion

It's feels like a billion is just a bit bigger than a million. Obviously it's bigger but it fits on the same scale as a million, surely. It doesn't. A billion is so so so much bigger than a million. I've trawled the internet finding graphics and videos that show the VAST difference between one million and one billion. Oh, and just to finish with a different misconception about space starting with the classic opening line from the great Douglas Adams and The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy : “Space is big. The office has all been moved around - new desks (with starter handles to raise and lower them), new high(er) speed network and ... the same old work.
