Image hosting by PhotobucketA fine gold medal win by the NZ Sevens team at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. After a tough (some might say dissapointing) run during the IRB Sevens Season they managed to pull out something quite special and beat England (always nice) 29-21.

Image hosting by PhotobucketAnd the Welsh boys had a storming win for the Plate against South Africa putting the 15-side to shame a little!

And the Hurricanes pick up 4 valuable Super 14 points over in South Africa whilst, from all accounts, the Crusaders left it late before running away with the game here in Christchurch.

It's feels like a billion is just a bit bigger than a million. Obviously it's bigger but it fits on the same scale as a million, surely. It doesn't. A billion is so so so much bigger than a million. Walking home past the Boys School playing fields , it's quite the idyllic view. I recall playing the Monmouth School for Boys only once before the fixture was cancelled due to the incessant fighting. I wonder if it's back on or has the early 1980s ban held firm.
