The Royal Goat Hotel

Can I find out why "Goat", can I buggery.

However, I did find out the following The Royal Goat Hotel facts:
  • The hotel was created in 1802.
  • It was first known as the Beddgelert Hotel, then the Goat Hotel.
  • It became the Royal Goat Hotel in 1863, when Queen Victoria’s son Arthur stayed.
  • David Pritchard, the first manager, erected a monument in a nearby field as an additional attraction for tourists. This was declared the burial site of a legendary dog called Gelert (more here).
  • In 1958 actress Ingrid Bergman stayed while filming The Inn of the Sixth Happiness.
