Him: Morning bro'

Me: Hey hey, mōrena.

Him: Ka pai [smile]

There was an instant, positive, and lovely change in both of us and all I had done was use the word "mōrena". Amazing eh.

"all" is doing a lot of lifting in that last sentence. Takes a moment to see the moment and make another kairos!

Walking over the bridge is a wondrous thing.
