I totally support what the peeps at Save Shelly Bay (https://www.mauwhenua.co.nz/) are doing and I hope the Council steps away from being obvious and basically colonialist with its behaviour.
I took a wee drive around the Peninsula today and stopped off to take some photos and have a chat with a few of those doing the hard yakka.
