Pool B: Wales 72 Japan 18
This game I did see and have already blogged: It made me proud to be Welsh again
Reviews, photos and thoughts:
Pool D: France 25 Ireland 3
The game this morning. Weren't the Irish very pedestrian, made the average-to-OK French look positively sparkling and I can quite easily see the Irish being beaten by the Argentinians (4am, 1-Oct). Before the competition I had quite high hopes for the Irish but it seems internal strife and troubles has led to a quite remarkable downfall ...
Oh, and I don't rate Sébastien Chabal ("l'Homme des Cavernes" - the Caveman) even if he is the joint face of this World Cup alongside Bryan Habana.
