40 this year ... and I think the party should be themed

Is there anything else that can strike up more fear in a persons heart than to receive an invitation to a "themed" party? Probably not.

But, if people get "into it" then it can be a laff. So far on the list for the mid-March celebration is a theme of "Childrens TV Programmes" ... probably should be "British TV Programmes from 1975-1985" and then we could play the DVD but that would rule out a lot of Kiwi-type people who've never even heard of The Clangers.

Other ideas (themed or otherwise) for a 40th?
