Day 20 - Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future

Despite being married twice I do believe that I am on my last marriage this time around ... in a good way, that it'll end by the death of one of us ... in a natural way, not by the knife she keeps under her pillow.

So I can't see me marrying anyone else. Even if she gets put away for a long time due to attempted murder and the marriage is annulled. I mean really, who wants to stay married to someone that's just tried to stamp them in the middle of a dream about Star Wars.

But "being with" someone else ... if I manage to get to the gun before she gets to the knife and it's not all "click, click" because I've forgotten to put bullets in but it's all "BANG! BANG!" then who knows. Probably. Yeah, I'll need someone in my life. I'll need a nanny. I'll need a chauffeur. A cook. Two cooks (one could focus on creating the perfect breakfast). And someone with small nimble fingers that would reach all the nooks and crannies without tearing the surface.

But who would it be ... ?

I don't have a gun.

Check And Change The Defaults

Life has so much to be going on with eh, so much easier to just go with the defaults and keep trundling on. Technology defaults, sure, whatever app company. Relationship defaults, I dunno, this is what's meant to happen, no? Society defaults, yeah, I s'pose it's what we all do. Behaviour defaults, um I've always been like this, isn't everyone? We just accept what we're given and move on. Don't. The first time you exhibit some behaviour, fall in love, install an app, or get asked to move on, stop, check the defaults, and if needed, change them to suit yourself. It's a right royal pain to have to do it every single time, but believe me it'll make your life so much easier in the long run.  With tech the default settings should be off (they won't be). Check them all to see that they are off, or what you want. It feels like a billion is just a bit bigger than a million. Obviously it's bigger but it fits on the same scale as a million, surely. It doesn't. A billion is so so so much bigger than a million. "AI" / LLM , it's mostly useless despite Google stuffing it into every part of their ecosystem ...there are hints that it might, in a few years, be useful but we're definitely not there yet. However, it can be used to generate (on the back of the world's information oh so generously supplied by humans over the centuries!?) weird and wacky malarkey. We've all seen the 'funny' images and 'humorous' videos but how about a Wiki that is generated on the fly from anything you want. It's called Halu-pedia , I assume from a concatenation of Hallucination + Encyclopedia, and I entered my name to get a list of pages it would create on the fly for us. Fonterra's Milk Tankers Were Andrew Oliver's Favourite Thing

What a wonderful old story about Kiwi  Andrew Oliver and Fonterra to warm the cockles of your heart! Fonterra changes tanker schedule for #1 fan by Indira Stewart, 8 May 2019 "A big outfit like Fonterra doesn't have to do that. They simply could've ignored the request but no, they came through. And we're very grateful." Kevin said the 15-minute visit to the farm to drain its milk vats every evening is a special treat for the tanker drivers on that shift. "We like to come out here. You realise that you're lucky, how lucky you are that we're able to do this. If we can make Andy's day well, hey that's the icing on the cake." Sad to read that in July 2025, Oliver died of pneumonia at Waikato Hospital, at the age of 41. He was buried in a coffin printed with images of Fonterra milk tanker trucks.
