Congratulations To The Online Rugby Community

It was a while ago that I handed over the reigns of the two international rugby calendars to those that wanted to continue them.

I recently popped over to the Rugby Calendars page on this site and wowsers, both are chocker full of international rugby entries and it was an absolute delight. I am loving how the rugby fan community has stepped up, taken the calendars to heart, and kept them going (even better than before).

It also struck me that all this awesome hard work probably needs to be shared a LOT more and not just on this website.

How To Add The Rugby Calendars To Your Own Website

Adding any calendar to your own website is easy, and here are the instructions for both the Men's and Women's rugby calendars.

Men's calendar

  1. Open your website editor
  2. Create a new page OR take a copy (you never know, it could go all horribly wrong)
  3. Make sure you can add HTML (for some it's a widget you'll need to use)
  4. Copy the following:
    <iframe src="https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=ct240d39oc9kq21cq3bn70jii8%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Pacific%2FAuckland" style="border: 0" width="800" height="600" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
  5. Position the cursor on your HTML page at the point you want the Men's calendar to appear
  6. Paste into your HTML page
  7. Preview the page (if able) ๐Ÿ”„ make changes (width and height for instance)
  8. Save / Save and Publish or whatever you need to do to make it public
  9. SHARE WITH THE WORLD :)

Additional text

If I was you I would also make it known that you're not the sole administrator of the games listed on the calendar(s) as, in my experience, you can get emails complaining when an game is not perfect and it wasn't you who put it in.
