The Charm Of Silly Style

There's a look-and-feel to American and English cartoons of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. There is always a lot of movement, everything is slightly caricatured, and perspective is trying to give a 3D feel.

In the UK the classic 70s comics of The Beano, The Dandy, Whizzer & Chips and many other similar weekly offerings had me in raptures as I entered fun, safe, and jolly worlds.
